Lauren was proud to be a Florida Gator and even prouder to be a sister of Delta Phi Epsilon. Each year, The Lauren Nicole Marcus Memorial Scholarship is awarded to one sister whose spirit, values and ethics closely mirror those of Lauren’s - someone who is an exceptionally hard-working student, involved philanthropist and devoted sorority family member.
The first annual Lauren Nicole Marcus Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Stephanie Lombardo, a graduating senior, who truly embodies everything that Lauren stood for. Steph has clearly and visibly demonstrated a strong work ethic, passion for giving back to the community, and a constant desire to be the best person she can be. An involved and natural born leader - holding 8 positions within DPhiE, serving as Dance Marathon delegate for three years, and so much more - it is extremely clear how much of an impact she has made on the Delta Kappa chapter in just four short years.
